maximum amount of gasoline, in gallons, this
automobile would consume on a trip of 360 miles?

its b and as given
20-24 is 1 galllon gasoline so 360?
difference of 24 and 20 ie avg 2 and now 360 by 2 we get 180 ie 18.0 k

correct explanation is
he is asing that max gasolin
so when we take in short time
like in 20 miles not 24
so the amount is 360/20=18
