The information shown on the figure has nothing to do with the solution. As the circle isnt touching the sides of square & somewhere in the middle.

Assume Square is having side x then the semicircle formed on one of the side will hv dia of x. Ie
so ratio= area of Semicircle/area of square i.e.
[pi/2 * (x/2)power of 2] / x power of 2
