sylvan means pleasent or leafy and it is not opposite to intellectual ..My answer is D
defunct means not working
even the most____ and ___ is a statement used for same kind of words, both possitive or negative. It does not state a comparison.
In option A, both words are positive, but no one is likely to be celestial. Well, certainly Charlize Theron is close enogh to be celestial, but she's an aussie, so she can't be civilized;) I'm just kidding, let's get rid of A
Option B: both words are a comparison, and not a good one. I don't think it could be a good option.
Option C: mature makes sense in the phrase. Check it out:
