the first two prime numbers are 2 and 3 and their sum is odd(5)
so the product is divisible both by 2 and 3
so why it is not B

a . is the answer
any prime number other than two is odd
and sum of two odd numbers is always even as such among x and y one has to be 2 for x+y to be odd
therefore x*y should always be divisible by 2
