Two line segments AB and CD intersect at points E such that TriangleACE: TrainagleDBE. If AE=9 inches, BE= 6 inches, CE= 3 inches, and DE = x. Find x.

    see the corresponding sides....
    ACE DBE
    therefore
    AE/DE = CE/BE

    so the answer comes out to be 4.5
    which is none of the above...

    who the F*** posts this dumb solutions man.... u guys suck bigtime....

    6/3=x/9 => x=18
    OR
    6/9=x/3 => x= 2
